The internationally acclaimed Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel Exhibition, an immersive presentation of museum-quality, near life-size reproductions of the iconic master’s frescoes that adorn the Sistine Chapel in Rome. Q: Did you reproduce everything inside the Sistine Chapel?
A: Our mission was never to copy the entire chapel, so bordering elements such as the Ignudi angels and other framing devices are not included. It was necessary to crop some of the images in order to fit them into the display design, but rest assured: all key images from the ceiling are included.
Q: Is the artwork in the exhibit the same size as the original in the Vatican?
A: Since the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel is curved, these reproductions are as close to the original size as possible.
Q: What is the source of the images?
A: Bridgeman Images. The photographs were taken post-restoration of the ceiling; in some cases
Q: How long should I plan to spend at the exhibition?
A: The average visit lasts between 1 to 1.5 hours, but we’ve had guests stay up to 3 hours.
Q: What is your refund policy?
A: All sales are final. Refunds are not available on purchased tickets. A ticket purchased for a specific date may be exchanged for a different date only if requested seven or more days in advance, depending on availability.
Q: Is the venue wheelchair friendly?
A: The Stanley Marketplace and The Hangar at Stanley are ADA accessible.
Q: Can I take photos inside the exhibit?
A: Yes! Photos for personal use are permitted and encouraged, but please do not use a flash, tripod, or selfie stick. For any professional or filming requests, please contact the producers.
Q: When is the best time to come?
A: Weekends are traditionally the busiest days, so expect large crowds then.
Q: Do you allow strollers?
A: Yes, your baby will have one of the best views in the house!
Q: Can I bring food or drink inside?
A: No outside food is allowed inside the exhibition. Concessions will be available inside the exhibition during most operating hours. Stanley Marketplace is home to 21 food and beverage businesses, which you are welcome to enjoy before or after your visit to the exhibition.
Q: May I host a private event inside the exhibition?
