Did you reproduce everything inside the Sistine Chapel?
Our mission was never to copy the entire chapel, so bordering elements such as the Ignudi angels and other framing devices are not included. It was necessary to crop some of the images in order to fit them into the display design, but rest assured: all key images from the ceiling are included.
Is the artwork in the exhibit the same size as the original in the Vatican?
Since the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel is curved, these reproductions are as close to the original size as possible.
What is the source of the images and when were they taken?
The exhibit is produced by Special Entertainment Events (SEE), a L.A.-based exhibition production company which acquired the worldwide rights to the fresco reproductions from Bridgeman Images. The photographs were taken post-restoration of the ceiling; in some cases, color enhancement was necessary to match the images for consistency.
How long should I plan to spend at the exhibition?
Because all tickets are timed entry with limited capacity per group, you should spend about 1 – 1 1/2 hours. If you are late for your purchased ticket time all efforts will be made to accommodate your ticket as exhibit capacity allows.
What is your refund policy?
All sales are final. Refunds are not available on purchased tickets. A ticket purchased for a specific date may be exchanged for a different date only if requested seven or more days in advance, depending on availability.
Is the venue wheelchair friendly?
Amercia’s Center is ADA accessible.
Can I take photos inside the exhibit?
Yes! Photos for personal use are permitted and encouraged, but please do not use a flash, tripod, or selfie stick. For any professional or filming requests, please contact, SEE Global Entertainment.the producers.
When is the best time to come?
Weekends are traditionally the busiest days, so expect large crowds then.
Do you allow strollers?
Yes, parents with strollers are always welcome. Your baby will have one of the best views in the house!
Can I bring food or drink inside?
Sorry, no outside food or drink is allowed. However there is a café connected to the exhibit space.
May I host a private event inside the exhibition?

What COVID-19 measures and precautions will be in place during the exhibition?
With recent announcements of new COVID-19 restrictions, please be assured Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel Exhibit at America’s Center is open and continues to provide a safe, spacious and capacity controlled environment for your enjoyment. We scan temperatures upon arrival, maintain state-of-the-art cleaning procedures, require masks for all guests and staff and ensure social distancing throughout the experience.

Directions and Parking:
To enter the exhibit at America’s Center, guests will use the Washington Ave. entrance. $5 self-parking is also available at the US Bank Plaza Garage immediately across the street from the Washington Ave. entrance.
