VISIT

The exhibit opens June 21 and runs through September 14, 2025.

Parking is available at the Cathedral on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Please download the audio guide app to your smart phone prior to your arrival. Look for "Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel" Companion Audio Guide available in the Apple StoreorPlay Store. Allow the app to use your camera and select your preferred language (English, Spanish, French, German).  

Once inside the exhibition open the app on your phone and focus the app screen on the QR code next to each item in the exhibit. The camera will find the audio for each item and start to play. 

It is recommended that you bring your own headphones to listen to the guide inside the exhibition.  

If you prefer, the Box Office has a few audio devices available to loan out to visitors.

Official tickets for Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel: The Exhibition in San Francisco, CA can be purchased HERE. Tickets for the San Francisco exhibition are not available on secondary ticket seller websites. 

You may print your ticket(s) or show your ticket(s) on your smart phone to the Box Office when you check-in. Tickets will be validated by the Box Office.

Yes, the selected venues and exhibits are wheelchair accessible.

It is recommended that you arrive within the time stated on your ticket, but you can arrive within the next 30 minutes.

Your ticket will still be valid, but you may be required to wait until there is space in the following times slots.

No outside food and beverage or anything that may disturb other patrons.

Yes, parents with strollers are always welcome. Your baby will have one of the best views in the house!

The exhibit is produced by SEE Global Entertainment Inc., a Nevada exhibition production company which acquired the worldwide rights to the fresco reproductions from Bridgeman Images. The photographs were taken post-restoration of the ceiling; in some cases, color enhancement was necessary to match the images for consistency.

Yes, please feel free to take photos and share them on social media Instagram @chapelsistine or Facebook @sistinechapelexhibition . When taking photos, please make sure not to disturb other guests. Professional equipment and tripods are not permitted.
